The film

A dialogue-free period drama set in rural Australia in 1971, filmed at Fairbridge Village in Pinjarra. The story called for care around its sensitive material, young performers and period setting.

Making room for the story

I joined during scripting and pre-production, then carried production-management responsibilities across more than 60 cast and crew. Casting, schedules, department coordination and logistics had to stay connected through principal photography and pick-ups.

The production focus

My work was to solve practical problems before they interrupted the shared goal. That included resolving missing costume measurements so preparation could stay on track. Clear communication and practical follow-through gave the director, cast and departments the continuity they needed.

  • Casting and department coordination
  • Scheduling and production logistics
  • Principal photography workflow
  • Pick-up production support

Detailed planning and practical adaptability create room for creative risk.
