The film

An SAE capstone dark comedy, produced across a warehouse, a Fremantle bar and Leighton Beach. A compact budget had to support a deliberately heightened, uncomfortable world.

From development to delivery

I produced the film from conception through delivery: developing themes with director Lindsay, supporting the script, securing locations and coordinating more than 20 cast and crew. The practical plan had to protect the film’s personality while keeping the shoot achievable.

Listening, then changing the film

Audience testing showed that the first cut was not communicating as intended. We added scenes, removed a character and restructured the edit to strengthen the message. Finishing meant being willing to return to the material, rather than simply locking what we had.

The personality of a film is worth protecting through every practical decision.
